It was summer, years ago
As fate let us cross our paths
The stars were shining bright
Your beauty made me blind to see
All this negativity
Your perfect body, in the moonlight
I don't know if this is right
Seducing with your eyes
The pain is constant
And misery stalks us tonight
Between the shadows and the light
Hiding
Dying as the sun kicks out the fog
Breathing ashes
Crystal eyes that stare as I cum
Tonight I feel the ache
A part of me has died
And I realise the mistake I made
You are my counterpart
The reflection when I look into the mirror
Through the fog of lethe
I recognise recognize you
The time flows like a river
Which becomes the waterfall
Between the shadows and the light
Hiding
Dying as the sun kicks out the fog
Breathing ashes
It was in summer years ago
As fate let us cross our paths
The stars were shining bright
Your beauty made me blind to see
All this negativity
A perfect body
Devoted to be mine
Tonight I feel the ache
I realise the mistake I made
You are my counterpart
The reflection when I look into the mirror
Your presence is healing
We're building a shadowy castle
In our hearts erected
Again and again
No matter why, no matter how
The walls break down
In our hearts erected
Again and again
No matter why, no matter how
In our hearts erected
Again and again
No matter why, no matter how
Every time the walls break down

Desolator have the distinction of creating music that should appeal to any fan of the various death metal sub genres. You’re going to find both brutal (Adversarial Doctrine) and melodic (Methods of Self-deception) tracks; the album has an old school feel while not really falling into OSDM worship. The technical aspect is by no means central, but tech death fans should appreciate the riff craft on display (Creatures of Habit). I even got a Sepultura vibe from the drums on the last track.
